Shipping methods vary depending on the destination and/or the size and weight of items, scroll to the bottom of each listing for details. Shipping for heavy items is set for SAL Sea Mail, please feel free to contact us if you would prefer a faster shipping method. Similarly please contact us if you would prefer SAL Sea Mail in order to save money on shipping, particularly if you’re ordering several items. Domestic shipping is via Japan Post YuPack, please contact us if you would like to specify a delivery time.

The time of delivery is a general estimate and does not take into account delays that are beyond our control, such as items stuck in customs, holiday seasons, inclement weather and delays due to conflict or natural disasters.
Dispatch will usually be made within 1-3 business days. You will receive a shipping notification with tracking details once your order has shipped. Japan Post requires parcels to be signed for upon delivery, we apologise for the inconvenience.
You, the buyer, are responsible for paying duties, customs fees and local taxes in order to receive your parcel. We do not collect fees or taxes on behalf of overseas authorities. UK buyers, please note that you will be required to pay duties plus an £8 Royal Mail handling fee on all purchases made from Kominka Zakka. Non-EU countries will also be required to pay import tax plus a Customs fee. Australian and New Zealand buyers may be asked to pay GST in order to receive parcels. US, Canadian and Asian buyers you may be asked to pay tax in order to receive your order. We do not mark purchases as ‘Gifts’ or reduce the value of items on Customs declarations.
