This listing is for a traditional Buddhist shokudai candle holder made about 30-40 years ago. It is made of brass and features a crane holding a lotus leaf standing on the back of a tortoise. This type of candle stand is usually placed at the Butsudan, which is the family altar found in people’s homes.

Condition
It’s in very good condition aside from some patina, and the candle spike seems a little longer than the part the supports it (please refer to the last photo).
