This listing is for a ceramic crane toothpick holder.   It was made using a press mould and features red, black and yellow overglaze trim over a white ceramic base.  Cranes are auspicious and thought to live for 1000 years, so they are often associated with longevity.  Crane tableware is very popular around New Year as are tortoise themed items.  This particular item is more suited to holding longer toothpicks, and the stamp of the kiln can be found on the bottom.
