This listing is for a small sudare sweets case with a seasonal momiji pattern.   It consists of a lightweight natural wood frame covered with a small bamboo mat.  Sudare cases are generally used for serving things such as sweets and tea confectionery.  It is better to line it with waxed paper such as paraffin paper if you plan to use it for serving unpackaged sweets, or those that are sticky.  Please note that this item is not suitable for the long term storage of food, it is only meant to serve food during a meal or tea time.  Wash and allow the case to dry well before packing it away.
