This listing is for a reasonably large Japanese bamboo vase made around 40-50 years ago.  It is hand-crafted from a single piece of bamboo and coated in clear lacquer, thus enhancing its durability while giving it a warm, glossy sheen.  It retains its natural bend giving it a unique, asymmetrical shape.  It may be used as an ikebana vase, or as a standalone decorative item.

Condition

It’s in pretty good condition aside from some worn lacquer on the bottom and interior, there’s some general wear on the exterior ie light scratches, scuffing etc, plus the application of clear lacquer is uneven on the exterior.
