This listing is for a pair of frosted beer glasses made around 5 years ago by Ishizuka Glass.  Their inner walls have been sand blasted to produce softer and smoother beer foam, and each glass holds 250ml.  The exterior of each glass features various motifs associated with good luck, and they come with their original paper storage box.  They also come with a Japanese and English instruction paper.

Ishizuka Glass is a glass manufacturing company located in Iwakura city, Aichi Prefecture.  They were founded in 1819 by Ishizuka Iwasaburo in modern day Kani City, Gifu Prefecture.  At that time the feudal lord of the Owari Domain requested vidro sculptures, however Japan didn’t have any technology for working with melted glass.  Ishizuka pioneered Japan’s first melting techniques, and this soon opened the road to mass production.  Ishizuka Glass grew during the Meiji and Taisho eras and they relocated to a large manufacturing district in Aichi Prefecture.  Today they are one of Japan’s leading producers of glassware and high end tableware.  **Fellow sellers, this information was researched by Kominka Zakka and CANNOT be used in your own listings.
