This listing is for a small papier-mâché dragon with a metal bell inside. It is a lucky charm to celebrate the beginning of the New Year, 2024 being the Year of the Dragon. Dragons are imaginary creatures, and according to legend they are a sign of good things to come. In Japan, dragons are also believed to be ‘mizu-gami’, which means water god. It is also said that dragons are auspicious because they ascend to heaven. It comes with a small red mat, as well as two Japanese language blessings and information about the twelve zodiac animals. It also comes with a paper storage box so it can be stored until the next Year of the Dragon.
