This listing is for a SMALL bamboo vase from Aomori Prefecture.   This type of vase is called a teoke, which is the water pail type.  It is carved from shirotake bamboo and is the perfect size for popping on a shelf or a small table.  Please note that it’s necessary to use some kind of insert on the interior, otherwise it will leak.  Something like a very small glass would do the job.

Condition

It’s in very good condition and is an unused item.  There are marks on the bamboo, however this is not dirt or stains, it’s a part of the bamboo.
