This listing is for a beautiful shifuku pouch made about 20 years ago. Shifuku are small pouches made of silk made to protect its contents. Shifuku contain items such as chawan, natsume, chashaku, or chaire tea caddies. Chaire always have at least one shifuku, and it is not unusual for old chaire to have two or three. The shifuku in this listing features cranes and an arabesque karakusa pattern, with purple lining and blue drawstring. Its size and shape is suited for holding a bunrin apple-shaped chaire tea caddy.  **PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CHASEN TEA WHISK IS NOT INCLUDED.
